I have worked in front-end web development since 1996. I have had the opportunity to work with many clients in companies both small and large, including AutoWeb, Lasting Change, Local Corporation and Disney Online Studios (DIMG).
I am current with the latest developments in HTML 4 & 5, (including AMP) CSS 2 & 3, Sass, Less, Javascript, (ECMA 5 & 6, React JS, Node, jQuery, JSON, AJAX) PHP MVC, (Laravel 5, CakePHP, MVC) C#, Asp.Net MVC, Razor, T-SQL, REST, Amazon AWS, MySQL.
I am experienced in many of the current tools used for web development such as, Visual Studio, SSH, GitHub/GitLab, Artisan, NVM, NPM, Atlassian, (JIRA, Confluence) Jenkins, Gulp. I'm also a proponent of the AGILE approach to web development.
I was the Senior Software Engineer responsible for for streamlining and updating the UI/UX for AutoWeb's site, Autobytel.com and UsedCars.com to decrease page load times and increase conversion rates. I created versions of several pages on UsedCars.com using Google's Accelerated Mobile Page technology. (AMP) UsedCars.com AMP pages were featured at Google Partners Connect: Automotive, August 15th, 2018.
I was the Senior UI/UX developer responsible for creating user interface and user experience for AutoWeb's TextShield 2.0, an online application for automotive dealerships to use to communicate with their customers via text messaging.
I was the Lead UI/UX Developer responsible for creating a responsive web site using bootstrap CSS for Lasting Change, a prison ministry web site to communicate the ministry purpose of reducing recidivism.
I was the Lead Web Developer for Local Corporation web site, Local Corporation Lead Generation and was a Javascript engineer brought in during the redevelopment/redesign of Local.com and Local Search Network web sites from 2010 to 2015.
I was the Senior Web Developer for Disney's Toontown Online web site between April 2009 and January 2010. I was the primary contact for all web site content updates and PHP program code maintenance and customer billing problems.
